Using smart Geo Fencing technology, Lutron can detect when you are on your way home using your mobile phone and active lights before your arrival. This could be your driveway lighting to welcome you home, and so you can park safely, or pre-set ambient lighting within your home so you never have to walk into a dark room. These buttons do exact what they have engraved on them, with the Goodbye button turning all of the lights in the house off saving your time checking every room when you’re in a rush to leave. The Hello button on the other hand does the opposite and turns on all of your pre-set “ambience” lighting so you never have to walk into a dark room again.

Did you know that the human eye cannot tell the difference between when a light is set to 100% illumination and 80%. Well with Lutron we can pre-set all of your lights so the maximum you can set them to is 80%, this then saves you 20% on your energy costs. That’s right Lutron dimming will save you money on every light you dim. So every scene set in the house where the lights are pre-set dim will save you money. House holds with rotary dimmers dim their lights 72% less often than those using a lighting control system.
